controlling X32 with iPad and MacBook

I have x32 compact.

how can I have it controlled at the same time with both and ipad and laptop running x32edit ?

since I need ethernet connection for both latop and for the wifi router for ipad but theres obvisuly one ethernet port on x32

my MacBook pro doesn't have an Ethernet port.

(Thank you Apple for removing more and more ports from MacBook) .

It does have built in wifi tho.

What options do I have to control x32 in real-time from MacBook x32 edit ?

Just use the same WiFi connection the iPad is using via the wireless router/access point. The X/M series mixers support multiple devices from the one connection.

I think what the OP is wanting is to have a wired connection to the MacBook as a safety should there be too much WiFi interference.

My solution would be to buy a good WiFi router that also has ethernet ports, and then get a Thunderbolt to ethernet adaptor for the MacBook to allow a wired connection to the router.
