Hi all, I am after a bass speaker for synths bass guitar and kick drum. Does anyone have any advice on what speaker is clean low but not just a complete boom noise like a domestic sub woofer.
Sorry its a bit of open question but I have been using a Behringer KX1200 which to be fair is quite good. but its a . yes Behringer
Mainly going to be powered through a QSC amp so it has a built in cross over but I also have an old HH Bass amp.

Is this for live use or studio recording?

I like two cabs for that: a 15 or 18” in one with 2 -10” and possibly a tweeter in the other.

"The Best" piece of gear is subjective.

it is for recording and play back, maybe recording from speaker - room ambience etc. I have Adams studio monitors but I like to hear the recordings/mix through proper speakers so I have Vintage 30s G12Ts G12HS etc for the guitars I just want something with a little more bottom end for the bass. Its mainly for British rock music

A 2x10 cab would be nice for that.
