Logic X project loading time

Hi, recently there has been a dramatic change in the time it takes to load Logic projects. Yesterday projects were loading as normal (for me), now they can take between 5-15 minutes!
Now when loading the dialogue box says; ‘indexing loops’ and all samples for the project are loaded - this is taking the extra time. None of these things happened before (or if they did they were very quick).
Things which might have caused the problem:
Logic did have a major crash the other day and the problem has occurred after that. All my preferences were re-set so this might be the cause.
Also I’ve installed an Adblocker extension for Safari, although I can’t see why this would affect Logic.

Currently running Logic X 10.7.2 on OS 11.6

I would appreciate any thoughts on this

Sorted!
It was the preferences for: Audio - Sampler - Virtual Memory. The Active check box was unchecked, which increases project loading time, so by checking the Virtual Memory Active box I now have things back to normal
