Hi all,
I've already posted about this on the Windows forum, but I'm having the same problem in Logic. A lot of the presets in Pod Farm 2 are coming up with some of the modules with a small 'no entry' sign on them.
In Cubase 13 on the PC, we established that this was because Pod Farm 2 is a VST 2 instrument, and Cubase only supports VST 3. I'm wondering how this works with Audio Units - is there any way to get everything working?
On the Windows forum, someone suggested using an app - Blue Cat's Patchwork to run VST and VST 2 instruments and feed into Cubase. Is there a similar app on the Mac?
Thanks, Paul

Re: Modules crossed out in Pod Farm 2
I'm going to guess that you have a license for Pod Farm which includes 87 modules, but you're seeing everything from Pod Farm Platinum which has 255 modules. You can't use those parts unless you have a license for Platinum IIRC (and it was a very long time ago that I last used Pod Farm!).

Hi Sonics,
That’s an interesting point. This might explain the situation in Cubase and Cakewalk as well.
I think I’ll contact Line 6 and ask them about that.
Cheers, Paul

Hi Sonics,
I've contacted Line 6 tech support, but I'm sure you're right because of the following:
I still can't figure out how to post an image, so I'll try and describe it. When you click on the Preset View button - just to the left of the Line6 logo - it brings up all the presets.
The ones in bright yellow all work with no cross outs. The ones in faded yellow all have some modules crossed out - so these must be the ones that are exclusive to Platinum. Basically it's showing you the ones in bright yellow that are fully functional in Pod Farm standard. Bottle is still a good one to use, even though it's got one thing crossed out.
In this view you can also view the presets by name, artist, guitarist, or author.
With your help - Sonics - we've finally got to the bottom of this one. We never figured it out on the Main forum so I'm going to post the link to this thread there.
Cheers, Paul

Re: Modules crossed out in Pod Farm 2
I got this email reply from Line 6 confirming what we established in the previous posts:
Hi,
that's correct, all presets would only be available with PODFARM2 Platinum
you can find a list here :

The link is quite handy for comparisons.
