There is a pop up window on my iPad
that keeps asking me "How are you viewing the SOS site?"
I've already answered that question, several times.
But it won't go away.
Being logged in doesn't help.
What to do?

Where does it pop up? In the browser?

I've got the same exact iOS 16.7.10 and I've never had that popup.
He could be a morsel of his former self.

Try deleting the cookies for the site, then log back in.
Reliably fallible.

It appeared in the lower left corner of the screen.
It shrunk in size when I answered the question, but never closed.
This went on for months.
But the day after my original post
it had disappeared, not to be seen since.
Magic? SOS elves?
Maybe wishes do come true,
if you just formulate them properly.😉

It's a random experiment I set in motion to gather some useful feedback that will help us gain an overview of who is viewing whcih parts of the website on what type of device.

Whilst we can gather big picture device usage from our ongoing daily Google Analytics traffic analysis, is is not granular enough for me to learn what devices are preferred for certain parts of the site.

It's all food for a forthcoming 2025 website redesign. :shh:
