headphones for mixing low end

Can anyone recommend some headphones that are good for consistent low end translation on to other systems when mixing electronic music? I have SONY MDR-7506 which have no low end at all. I need some headphones that are able to properly deliver low end down to 40Hz.

We all have our favourites here - mine are AKG K712 Pro for low end mixing, although the Sennheiser HD650 are a close second.

I'd also recommend either of those, although my personal preference is also for the AKGs.

Years ago, when I wrote my book about low end, I auditioned the AKG 712s and from then on recommended them for all low end tasks albeit with a caveat about the midrange. I also owned the 650s and they were excellent for overall referencing. You can't go wrong with either.
