IN the mag the other week was a feature on making your mix loud. A free plugin was listed but my mag has since found its way to recycle land.

Anyone tell me its name, please?

I think perhaps you need more that a plugin.

... but be that as it may, I would guess the plugin was the George Yohng W1 limiter - a freeware VST said to be a clone of the Waves L1:
