If a company has world class engineers then this company undermines the ability talent of these world class engineers producing knock offs :
in effect saying to these world class engineers you are not good enough to produce your own products.
Whereas these world class engineers should be trusted to produce their own products.
A progress update on the Prophet 600 clone, first prototype is under test and it seems to be sounding good. As has been mentioned they are working with Gligli so it should be good.
An update finally on FB, 100 units have been produced that are going off to beta testers who have an original OB-Xa to compare with and once all the beta testing has been done and the Xa is fully ready production will commence.
Oh and by looking at the picture not only is it now called the Ob-Xa it sports the old Oberheim logo!
And I would guess the image attached to the FB post is the final revision, although that is not made clear,

An update on the RD-9, should be shipping from the factory in 1-2 months, has a switchable option to include the extra pots they have added for tuning or to leave it as the original.

Behringer FB wrote:Re-Introducing the Behringer RD-9 Rhythm Designer
As the development of the RD-9 is now coming to an end, we are glad to update you and showcase its final sounds.
The RD-9 is a fresh new take on an iconic classic, fitted with our own custom made analogue components which have been carefully engineered and developed, giving a truly authentic sound. All whilst introducing new performance features, controls and connectivity with modern-day musicians and producers in mind.
The RD-9 will begin shipping within the next 1-2 months from our factory.
We Hear You.
Looks like they have a few poly synths in the pipeline,
Behringer FB wrote:Over the past 3 years our UK, Italian and German engineering teams worked extremely hard to design a modular control platform for polyphonic synthesizers, based on high power ARM processors. This now allows us to develop synths at a much faster rate and we’re extremely excited to share some news.
With the upcoming release of the OB-Xa, we can now fully focus on several poly synths we’ve been developing in parallel. Below you see one of the most complex analog synths ever created with over 6,000 components placed on a highly dense multi-layer board. This synth even uses discrete analog filters based on vintage designs.
2021 will be a very exciting year with many great instruments in the pipeline - even digital and hybrid synths.
You guys are the reason why we do what we do. Thank you for all your support and locality.
And, after someone sent them a design idea, they are asking if we would want a synth that was never released, the Moog SL 8.
