Two months of work went into this one and I think it really captures a certain mood.
Only 3 instrumental tracks: SE Quadnic, Moog Subharmonicon, and Soma Labs Lyra-8.

Very nice to listen to.
Very impressive to discover it's only three instruments.

Very meditative and minimalistic, but nevertheless containing lots of pleasing variation, like clouds passing in the sky.
Great work Ben!

Thanks, Martin! What a nice way to put it. I guess the 20 hours spent programming all the bell changes into the NerdSeq paid off!

The older I get, the more music I do. The more music I do, the more kinds of music I like listening to. This tune of yours was repetitive, but in a way that works. I liked it. The other thing is that, although the music I do is very different from the kind of stuff you do, listening to music like yours sparks an interest in me to do something that bridges the gap between the two musics. How interesting.

Thanks for the kind words!
It’s funny that you mention it being repetitive because the melody actually only repeats every 4 minutes or so because a single round is over 100 measures long, but without a percussion element marking the time, there’s no real way to know. I know for me, I find myself latching onto a particular interval, and tell myself it’s repeating, when I know for a fact that I’m lying to myself and what I’m perceiving as the ‘downbeat’ is, in fact, sliding all over the place.
Audio illusions are fun!

Hmmm. I thought I'd commented but it's not there
This is very restful - something to chill out to
Oh, and I like the way it resolves at the end.

Seemingly no longer an 'elderly'.
Now a 'Senior'. Is that promotion?

Thanks! Yeah, it kind of just carries you along if you let it. I couldn’t help myself at the end and had to let the Lyra-8 step out of the background. I think that technically downgrades it from ‘ambient’ to ‘minimalist’.
