Generic home cinema sub really. I don't think it's actually the one Music Wolf has linked to above as it looks like a 2.1 system not a 5.1 to me.
It'll add a little bit of thump to action sequences on movies but don't expect it to be very musical.

I had one like that many years ago with my surround system and looking at the size in the pic it looked like an 18" version to me.

Nothing like an 18" sub! Like others have said, just a generic 90s (?) home sub. People thought they were big if they were 10" in those days.
