I had a listen to Ben and Laura's playback... rapidly lost the feeling in my ears, followed by the sensation of my brains dribbling out and across the table, being chased by the will to live. I had forgotten local radio was that bad... I skipped around a bit, but the lack of time checks meant I couldn't find 08:10 so I gave up. I'm sure you sounded great, though...

Mixers were dusted off (well ... the case was anyway), the 'new' rack mounted wifi system was tested (along with a wired ethernet adapter over usb for QSC) and various monitors (15", 12", 2x10" and a 10" wedge) tested along with the EV 12 tops I have and the Yamaha DXR10s and DSX12......

People often mistake me for a grown-up because of my age.

Normally those are perfectly sensible suggestions but I'm afraid I mix in circles where those tools are ineffective or might even have a rousing effect on the herd.

Pipes and banjos? All you need to add are accordions for the holy trinity. :)

Remember : light the match _AFTER_ you pour the paraffin

A small, yet significant, point.... :D

Nice see some chirpy responses!

Well, i decided to have a change of career last March and secured a full time post in the AV industry, needless to say, I've worn out some broom heads in the last 14 months.

Picking up slowly but were still only at 25% - Gig wise, I've a few bits booked in but quickly went from potentially working 60 consecutive days in July & August to planning quite a few weekends away in the T5
