I just picked up one of these today. When I spent a day trying out Marshalls last year, this is the sound (or more accurately: vast range of sounds) that I was looking for.
It's the 'Marshall in a box" but more so. Utterly brilliant and alive, with a massive range of eq and boosts.
I dumped my Marshall guv'nor 2 and eschewed a Digitech hardwire that gets good reviews everywhere. They are not even close.
Radial seem to be leaving the fx pedal market, so get one quickly.

Did you get one of the original ones with the tube, or the newer V9?

This one has a tube and needs a 15v power supply. From the manual, it looks like changing the tube is a bit of a procedure - but the friendly folks at The Gear Junkie can do that.
The solid state one uses a standard 9v supply. I will try one of those out in a few weeks to see if they sound close enough as a backup.

Instant gratification is actually pretty good. It's fast as well.
