I admire your choices - two publications that really tell it how it is

I can still remember the thrill of grabbing a copy of SOS at my local Sainsbury’s, or WHS, I’d go home, prepare some Shepard’s pie on toast along with reading SOS and be in heaven.
However, those memories are as distant now, as my memories of reading Studio Sound in
1974.

My collection of SOS was one of my prized possessions. I wore out some articles.

My issue turned up today. Clearly some mysterious delay in the system again.

I'm sure it will turn up tomorrow, which gives me something to read on sunday morning whilst lying in bed and drinking coffee.
This is the best way to spend sunday morning, if anyone was wondering... ;)

I guess we're blaming the driver shortage this month... ;)

We'll have to get the driver one of those deliveroo GPS trackers so we can see where they've got to.

Those 'your driver is currently here' maps are all very well, but when waiting in for a driver to deliver a parcel to me I've noticed that sometimes they can be in the next street, then drive several miles away, and then come back to me, so I'm not sure their route planning is particularly optimised

I've wondered about that as well. You'd think by 2021 we'd have got to grips with the Travelling Salesman problem! :D

But maybe we have, my copy arrived this morning. :)

It seems the dividing line has moved a long way South this month. My paper issue is awol too.... if that makes you feel any less isolated. :shifty:

After checking in our lad's room (because he's started hijacking my copy almost as soon as it gets through the door) it seems the line is less than 20 miles from the south coast.

I thought mine had arrived but it turned out to be a 13mm socket that doesn't fit. It's long not deep. I might try and drill it out.
