Good morning forumites!
We posted this across our social media channels last week, but I thought I'd repeat it here for the benefit of Facebook-averse friends of SOS:

Write for Sound On Sound!
The last page of every print issue of Sound On Sound is a regular column titled 'Why I Love...', and it's intended as a space to allow our authors to share what makes their studio lives tick. We've featured a diverse range of topics including the joy of silence, the endless possibilities of patchbays, how early mornings are the best time to make music, and many more.
If you'd like to write a Why I Love column yourself, please send a draft to whyilove@soundonsound.com. Your article should be between 400 and 500 words, and while we can't guarantee we'll print them, every submission will be read and considered for publication.

So, if anyone fancies putting pen to paper and seeing their words appear in their favourite magazine, you know what to do! And if you're unsure of the sort of thing we're after, this search link will take you to a list of all the Why I Love columns that we've published:

Cheers!
Chris

If there were still a Sounding Off column, I could write about how Totalmix was better (less cluttered) back in the Good Old Days
Re: Why I Love...
How many country and western singers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Three...
One to change the bulb and two to sing about how good the old one was.
