I'd guess Sapele, one of the mahogany family, without actually being a mahogany.

I'll work on something more glamorous but...it lives! It actually works.

It arrived programmed to play octaves over three levels. It was making crazy noises earlier but since the sun went down it's been fine. :D

I think you’re confusing it with flying. :D

At least air piano is something you can practice on your commute to work and back. And it has the added benefit of keeping you socially distanced.
