It’s a shame he’s in partial shade and you can’t make out all the gear, but there’s a GR300 controlled from a Godin with a GK1 pickup, and presumably the ME70 is providing effects

Duet with the Golden Gate Bridge, Nate Mercereau
Re: Duet with the Golden Gate Bridge, Nate Mercereau
beautiful video!!!
the music is also beautiful
But I expected it to grow more dynamic and intense.
Isn't it every guitarist's secret dream to climb a mountain and finally be able to play that 400 watt speaker to the max?
And even more with this Metheny "are you going with me" unforgettable tone

Hey everyone! I appreciate the interest in this project.
If I may offer a little background on what it was like...
The goal was to get inside the sound of the bridge and allow it to be a musical conversation. Sometimes it would be very active and flare up in volume + tone, and other times it would remain static, more of an environment to explore, a supportive presence. I did two days of improvisations with the bridge, and these 25 minutes excerpted are the melodies/themes that I found myself returning to throughout the experience.
The gear in the shadows is a Plus Pedal and Digitech XP400

Yes, very nice work, Nate and welcome to the forum!
Signal flow was GR300 mix out into XP400 then Plus pedal then ME? Was your expression pedal controlling VCF cutoff for the GR300?
I'd heard about the issues with the Golden Gate 'singing', and had wondered if anything could be done musically with the result, but never expected it to appear in my Sunday newspaper, yet alone with the old blue box so prominently featured. I nearly choked on my toast!!
As it happens I was just lamenting not picking a GR300 up from new in the Boss Eurus thread below. One more reason to kick myself I guess ...

Re: Duet with the Golden Gate Bridge, Nate Mercereau
That's correct re signal flow and VCF cutoff pedal. I also have DIs between everything so I can make a more immersive mix.
Appreciate all the kind words!! There will be a couple more peripheral pieces of this project being released soon.
