Upgrading system drive - reloading apps & libraries

Post by Gone To Lunch »

I am upgrading my system drive to an SSD.

I intend to re-install the OS from the Apple site.

Can I simpy copying everything else over, like all the VIs and libraries, or do I need to re-install them as well?

Any particular pitfalls I need to be aware of?

Unless you want to do a clean install, maybe using Migration Assistant would be less hassle?

I use Carbon Clone Copier to make bootable backups of my system, and projects drives. plug authorizations are retained.
