What chord is THIS???

I cant deduce what chord is THIS: https://youtu.be/GcCn52H0hII?t=39
At the time of the link, the song is at the tonic, but then it briefly turns into this out-of-nowhere chord, it sounds so awesome! No idea which chord it is or why it sounds so cool though..
Any ideas??

What chord where? at what point, the rest seems the standard salsa montuno (I think that's what it's called) the basic chord, most often major 7th (as already mentioned) played in the left hand and in the right hand a 7th octaves or maybe 9th sometimes a chromatic shift to give that characteristic salsa sound, syncopated.
