At times I am in a love/hate relatuionship with modular, love the flexibility, but hate patching the thing. Perhaps I need to spend more time with the modular and develop a deeper ability to patch? Perhaps, for me at least, life is too short?
I feel ya.
It took four years, and many deep dive challenges, before I started feeling comfortable making ‘modular music’.

Yes, I’m liking the semi-modular world more and more.
I have some things permanently patched up anyway on my modular, I tried making rows that produce my favourite sounds, that are "instruments" it works, to a degree, but then I want to use a module in another row, miles away, and long awkward patching ensues. Also, having separate instruments, sort of makes you think in that way only, if youve got all you modules sorted into types, that doesn’t tend to happen.
It’s a great random, drone rack, potentially I have thirteen oscillators.
Not that I’ve ever used them all, I like the sound of just one oscillator, all doing different things.
Oh dear, my subtle wordplay was obviously too subtle
HP?
Open source?
Well I was pleased with it anyway
Oh dear ! Sorry for the sense of humour failure ! I didn't realise this was such a saucy message board
Here's the latest project I'm working on, a AS3320 based bandpass filter with VC of resonance. Three audio inputs, output of the mix, two outputs. Two VC frequency controls in:
