I write and produce my own material but am trying to broaden my "portfolio" if you like, by collaborating with others.
So far I've written two toplines for a Drum & Bass producer which was a lot of fun - ideally I'd like to get paid for this though in the future so need some examples to provide!
Anyone out there have a track they are looking for a female vocal on? Either as a session singer or top-line writer I don't mind which.
Or if no one is up for it, is there a website I could register with? I am currently on Landr offering services but it's hard to get clients without having had clients (if that makes sense?) I don't have much cash to throw at subscriptions either

Re: Looking for collabs - Female Vox top-liner here.
I'm slowly working on my next album that I'm hoping to be a much more collaborative affair, basic details in this thread: https://www.soundonsound.com/forum/view ... hp?t=78899
Let me know if it's of interest.
Good luck.

Hi Drew, yes absolutely!
Do you have a track in mind that would need a female vocal?

Not yet, but I'll have a think. If you PM me your email address I'll send you all the current potential tracks so you can see if anything piques your interest.
Cheers
Not my thing, in relation to my own music, but I like these songs, especially the arrangements, and I think your solo music should be your focus, rather than looking for collaborations, providing lines, I know all opportunities and work are desirable, but honestly, I think your own music deserves most of your attention, that’s my opinion.

Thank you, that's a nice comment I am focussing on getting my own solo tracks out also. I have a track in mixing stage at the moment which I want to release prior to xmas.

Might as well throw my hat in the ring too. I struggle with my vocals, so am interested to see what a proper vocalist can make of things. Here is the link.....
