Linux on MacBook Air

Post by twotoedsloth »

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to read and/or respond to this.

Has anyone run Linux (specifically Fedora) on a MacBook Air? How does one boot to the USB flash drive with the OS installer on it?

Many thanks,

Peter

Don't have such a beast myself, but I know it can be done. I've seen it discussed on various Linux forums.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a youtube vid on it

To get a boot menu on a Mac, hold 'Alt' while the computer is booting up.

Its definitely possible, with the current exception of the new m1 version. Work is being done to support m1 but it's not ready yet.
