First the NiftyKEYZ, and now the Soma Terra.

Where will it all end?

(answers on a postcard please ;) )

Well my next postcard has already arrived - here's the SOS Superbooth coverage of the Silhouette Eins Optical Synthesizer:

That's now gone onto my want list too 8-)

Reminds me a bit of the Oramics drawn synthesiser that Daphne Oram developed. There was a very interesting seminar at the 2017 Synthfest.

I haven't fired it up yet. Spent the afternoon digging out my old mixer and KH80 monitors & stands. Now I have to dig out some cables and get it all running.

A while ago Hugh made some posts explaining how the filter works, so I did manage to grab them and save them as a note. So that'll be a useful starting place.

Saw this yesterday. Thought it was one of the most creative and innovative synths ever. The UI/UX is amazing as well. The demonstration with half a circle then using his fingers, widening the space between them and moving them up and down was astounding. Real-time creation of the oscillator and real-time controls of it at the same time.

Great to see how the Industry is still very dynamic.

Granted, several of these can't be mass-produced for various reasons, but things should loosen up after supply chain issues are sorted out.

But does it do a good Moog bass?
Buying does look good, I must admit.
(that was a typo, or a prediction)
