I may just run out of time given that in the last 2-weeks I’ve so far programmed drum sounds for the Sub37 and sampled them into a kit
I think the term glacial progress might apply here

I too got bogged down doing the same with my Synth of Choice. However, I did discover this great, simple and free sampler along the way!

I now have 13 submissions. Three synths have been entered more than once, two people have entered more than one composition.
Although I stated the final submission date to be this coming Sunday, I won't be able to get around to dealing with them until late Monday afternoon, so you latecomers have until about 5pm on Monday 3rd.
