HI, I listened with headphones on you have some very nasty frequencies, that's the first thing that stood out to me. The vocals could be mixed better but over all I like the idea but I recommend fixing the top end, it's a ear killer.

Good work you have the foundations

The vocals stood out, IMO, I liked them, but that sound, something wrong there, it’s difficult to know what to say, the cause could be many things.

I've been assuming that the top-heavy approach was a deliberate, artistic choice. And I like it actually. I do think it's still a tad too much, but I wouldn't want to lose it in a quest for a more 'normal' sound.

It sounds like everything except the bass has gone through a transistor radio plug-in preset. That's great for short sections of the song, but I keep feeling that there's a spectacular full range sound coming around the corner and it never happens.

I don't think the vocals are too loud - this style of music is vocal led so they need to be loud.

Fun track, I enjoy the vocals and flow of the song. I agree with others that the snare is super tinny and I find it distracting. I assume they are samples so perhaps try swapping out a different snare sample? There is also a lot of reverb and it hides some of the subtleties of the production. In particular on the keys. It is an important part of the vibe of the song so maybe bring it in and out a bit. Perhaps modulate the depth of the reverb. Just a suggestion.

Overall, great work and thanks for sharing!

It's a very ingenious snare drum part, but I think you may have fallen in love with it! You can't feature both it and the vocal up front quite so much.

You don't have to write songs. The world doesn't want you to write songs. It would probably prefer it if you didn't. So write songs if you want to. Otherwise, dont bore us with beefing about it. Go fishing instead.
