What do you want to mic up?

The CC 915 has a mini-XLR style connector for direct connection to some radio mic transmitters, so if it's going to be used direct to a mixing desk you'll need an adapter.

Looks like a copy of an AKG C 519 (but with an older style AKG clip).

Reliably fallible.

Thanks Wonks. Son is inquiring on behalf of the band he is in, they are thinking of using it on acoustic guitar, possibly clarinet and some African instruments.

They seem a clueless lot 'PA' wise because from what son tells me they don't have anything with phantom power to plug an XLR into as yet!

Mini XLR?!! i would chop that fekker off and fit a proper job first day.

I haven't used that one but I have the Ovid series CC100 mic with the guitar fitting kit and that is pretty good, and excellent for the money.

People often mistake me for a grown-up because of my age.

Just a follow-up to 'Sam'... I had a full set of the OVID (from Thomann) and its various fasteners. Haven't looked at prices recently, but I considered it good value for live work.
