Ha 81 A, Neve 8803 or similar advice

thinking about buying an eq along the lines of the neve 1073 type eq...
I want to buy an eq along these lines to add some character

I like the idea of 4 bands, two mid bands and not as limited to the tradtional 3 band eq

what Ive come across so far is the ams neve 8803 which is stereo(I want to use in stereo applications) and the heritage audio HA 81 a(monox2)

any users of these products that could say why one might be better over the other
they seem to work out along the same price tag
