Sound Technology have announced that they will be hosting an audience with legendary mix engineer Bob Clearmountain at Platoon 7 studios in London, UK. The event will see Bob discuss his approach to mixing in Dolby Atmos, providing attendees with valuable insights and offering examples from some of his latest mixing projects.

I attended this event yesterday. It was all too brief, but I learned a heck of a lot and got to shake the hand of this incredibly talented and all round good guy.
I have plans for Atmos mixes (am already into the project, actually), so this was timely. To then have a chance to talk some of it through with Bob, and pick up a few nuggets of genius, was such a boost. I hope his gold dust rubbed off, at least a little!
