A&H QU32 - Massive increase in price!

Post by Gwall »

I bought a QU32 4 years ago for £1800.
The mixer now costs £3500 to purchase!

The QU32 has been in production for nearly 10 years!

A massive increase in price now. Can hardly believe it.

Does anyone know where it can be purchased at a reasonable price as I'm looking to purchase another one.

Thanks, G.

Back in 2014 the smaller QU24 model had a list price of nearly £2600, so you got a real bargain!

The going price today definitely seems to be between £3.3 and £3.5K, although WestEndDJ is advertising the QU32 at £3k as a preorder. That's the best I've seen for new desks. I doubt you'll find a much better price now given the demand and supply situation, and certainly no where near £1800.

Maybe the whole chip shortage and supply chain problems affecting technology globally in the last few years has passed you by? Prices from 4 years ago were at all-time lows, and now look like screaming bargains - not to mention that many products are relative unobtainium

X32 was £1,450 now £2,100
XR18 was £350 now £590
The list goes on.

2019 - we never had it so good - if only we knew what was to come...

I noticed this the other day when I was looking to see what it would cost to replace my existing kit as and when the need arises. I bought my XR-18 in early 2020 using the Andertons' voucher that my colleagues gave me when I retired. I had to go and find the receipt because, despite them all being glad to see the back of me, I knew that I wasn't that popular.
